Welcome to this week's edition of The Newy List!

Some weeks the town empties out. This isn't one of them. Eddie Izzard brings the Remix Tour to Civic Theatre on Thursday, a comic who's been at it long enough to treat his own back catalogue like a setlist. Saturday belongs to Professional Bull Riding Origin I at the Entertainment Centre, which is exactly what it sounds like and somehow more. Hunter Drama holds down the Playhouse all week with A Midsummer Night's Dream. Flamingos Live in Lambton swings between the Faulty Towers Dining Experience and a Sunday session with folk-jazz singer-songwriter Ami Williamson, because why pick a lane. Reconciliation Week runs its own current of community events across the region. The Merewether May Markets land on the weekend. Pace yourself, or don't.
